Form Follows      Function

My undergraduate studies in medical ethnobotany and nutrition stoked my passion for holistic problem-solving as well as looking to the natural world for inspiration.

While obtaining my Master's degree in Graphic Design at SCAD, I not only gained a solid foundation in typography, color theory, and Gestalt theory, but also learned to employ design thinking and visual metaphor to create meaningful designs enhanced with strong visuals in a variety of media. Design thinking showed me how to dig deep into the conceptual heart of each project to develop insightful solutions. 

I believe that great design is not only be visually engaging, but also created thoughtfully in order to most effectively convey the desired message.
